Introduction

Shri Parvat Shakthi Peeth is the place where Devi Sati’s right anklet fell. Here Devi is worshipped as Shri Sundari. (One who is pretty and Lord Shiva as Sundaranand (handsome)

Location

Shri Parvatt Shakthi Peeth is located in Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir. There is also another belief that this Shakthi Peeth is located in Srisailam, Andhra Pradesh.  

Maa Kheerbhawani's (Ksheerbhawani) holy temple is also situated here.

Festivals and Fairs

Shivaratri celebrated in February- March is a big draw among people. A special fair is held during Deepavali. Navaratri is celebrated for nine days during Ashwija masa (Sep- Oct).

Temple is open from 6.00 am to 10.00 pm
